In the First Starladder semifinal December 13 Spirit and donk already thought they have the French in their pockets. The arena was ready for the donk show. Vitality, however, had other plans.
Vitality showed unbelievable resilience and steady defense to comeback from 11-4 and 12-6. They faced two more map points being on T side, but they miraculously kept our bets alive, and cliched the map after all. The turning point came at 12–10, when Vitality survived a chaotic situation by killing the planter with milliseconds left on the plant 1v2.
Second map Dust2 was neck and neck for a long time, but it was ZyWoo who produces high impact round after round. Vitality won the map with 7 straight rounds, 8-13.
Our pick Vitality got through and we are ready to watch NaVi match to see if we go 2/2 again today.
With this win, The Bees get their ticket to the StarLadder Major Grand Final. Who ever wins the second semi-final, Vitality will be the favorite in the odds. Not maybe unbeatable so, but we’ll talk about that later.
